Abstract
Language is the main tool in communication. To use
language is to perform actions or utter what people intend to
others in everyday conversation (Rahayu, 2019). In language and
communication, sentences play an important role in conveying
meaning, expressing thoughts, and connecting individuals.
Understanding the different types of sentences and their structures
is essential for effective communication. This chapter explores into
the details of sentence types and structures, shedding light on how
to create sentences that effectively convey the intended message.
